Sleep Update

So mostly little miss Amelia has been doing great with sleep training. Last night she was asleep before Miles was! We normally keep her up a little later than Miles as she is very alert at night. But last night she was super fussy so I just put her down. She was asleep by 7:30! Of course that meant that she was awake at 4:00 for a feeding (despite the 3 oz of dream feeding we did at 10). The good news was that she fell right back asleep at 4:20 and slept until 6:15. I am totally good with her sleeping 7:30 - 6, with a quick feed at 4.

With Miles, it always felt like we had to constantly provide him with stimulation and activity.... not so with Amelia as she has it built in with her big brother - and no one is more entertaining than he is!!

This was taken at breakfast over the weekend. Miles was his super adorable self. It always amazes me what he now knows and can put together - his brain is just absorbing so much so fast!!

(Old One) Miles steals Daddy's Chin

A while ago, Miles invented a game where he "steals" parts of your face. Sometimes he just "holds" onto it, sometimes he eats it, sometimes he hides it so you can't get it. This video was taken at dinner in Napa when Miles was exhausted, but ever his charming self.

ABC's

The other night, I was hanging out with Miles in the playroom and asked if he wanted to sing the ABC song with me. He said yes, and to my surprise, he actually sang along. A bit later after I went off to cook dinner, Tim captured Miles singing the song (and playing air guitar) by himself. You'll notice he is better at the last part of the alphabet than the first, but we are really surprised how quickly he is picking things up these days. His little brain is such a sponge and we are enjoying watching his ability to communicate expand.
