On Saturday night, we had dinner with my folks and my brother and his family up in San Francisco. It was quite entertaining as our reservation called for 6 adults, 1 high chair, and space for 2 car seats. We tried to do Miles' bedtime routine before dinner, have him fall asleep in the car, and sleep through dinner. That didn't work. So Miles, as cute as he could be (while being tired and cranky) spent the better part of dinner looking over Tim's shoulder and flirting with the women behind him. As Melissa said, what wouldn't the ladies want - he has gums and can rock his jammies!!
On Sunday and Monday, we went to work. Tim is cleaning up the garage while I was taking our bedroom and closet. I went through all my pre-pregnancy clothes that I had put away. The good news is that I fit most of it, but some of it, not well. My shorter shirts just don't work well with a post-baby stomach!! I am in the process of getting rid of bags of clothing. My goal is to have a place in our closet for all my clothes - bold, I know! I am also trying to attack Tim's side of the closet as he has about 50 pairs of pants, most of which he doesn't wear.
We also picked up our combined birthday present bookshelf from my parents so we have a matching set in the sun room off the kitchen. We spent Monday painting the interior of the shelves and they look great! I am in the process of refilling the shelves, but it is the last of the touches to make the room look great. Since we did it, I have spent a lot of time playing in there with Miles - the room is quickly becoming my favorite room in the house! It lastly needs a window covering for the window and the sliding glass door.
