So I just got a call from the Doctor on the last blood test in the series for Downs Syndrome and everything came back negative. I am still at a 1 in 10,000 chance for having the illness, but that apparently is as high as it goes - so we are as much in the clear as you can hope to be.
The only down side of last week's test is that my nerves in my hand are still not behaving. I get a shooting pain in my ring finger when I try to reach for something, but it feels more like pins and needles than numbness, so it seems that my nerve is just waking up again.
All in all, no lasting effects, and very positive news. YAY!
